These days the style of the house does not necessarily dictate the style of the window treatment.  There is now total freedom to create whatever mood or style you want.
Swags & Jabots/Tails
Swags were first incorporated into window treatments in the 17th century and remained a popular feature of drapes in many window treatments today.

In the dining room the curtains are made of a stripe silk lined and interlined, taken right up to the ceiling beyond the top of the windows.  The elaborate swags and jabots are outlined with trimmings to define their shaped. The jabots are layed with contrasting silk that echos the colors in the face fabric.  The top of the window treatments is corded with matching rope trim to give the curtain a strong line.  The side panels are hung on the walls for maximum window clearance.   The side seams and hem of the panels are hand sewn.

A lovely mixture of floral and creme damask is created for this dining room. The panels are anchored with a 5 inch banding tying them to the swags above.  The swags and panels are lined. Crushed voile sheers under the curtains brings light in during the day. Matching table runners was created to dress the dining room table.

In this small living room, swags and jabots were created to dressed up this small space.  Multiple swags were created to draped this 'L' shaped window.  The swags, jabots and panels are lined.  Trimmings are used to lined the top of the swags and to outlined  the jabots.

Red silk, lined and interlined curtains were created for this oriental theme dining room. The swags and jabots are edged with gold and black trimmings. Tassels were added to create more drama to the swags and the panels are held back away from the windows for full viewing.   The side seams and hems are handsewned.

The creme color damask are used to creat these swags and jabots teamed with matching sheers underneath the curtains. A touch of color was used as a contrast to the jabots to echo the color on the walls.

The bold color of black is dominant in this big bedroom.  The oriental theme is carried from the furniture to the comforter, shams and drapery panels.  Creme color fabric is used for the Bordeaux valance  embellished with trimmings, crowning the drapery panels and under curtains of sheers - a brilliant solution for a tall, wide window.  The triple layered box pleated bedskirt are attached to the underside of the bed frame to fill up the empty space under the bed and added another dressy layer to the overall appearance.  The soft furniture were upholstered and are accented with beautiful pillows with splashes of burgandy taken from the face fabric.

Cornices

The curtains here are made of a generous quantity of embordored, satin silk. The panels are lined and interlined and the hems and side seams are hand sewn. The cornice and pinched pleated panels are installed on some wall space which gives the appearance of a bigger window and give more window clearance when the panels are drawned back.

An elaborate use of silk was used to make these pinched pleated drapes that ensure privacy when drawn.  The panels are lined and the side seams are hand sewn.  Crystal beads trimmings are hand sewn on the leading edge and the bottom edge of the curtains.  The cornice that crowns the panels takes the window treatment to another level with its crystal beaded edge to catch the light.

A lovely mixture of pink toile and satin is created for this baby's room.  The cornice is adorned with pink satin to create a one of a kind appearance.  The windows are covered with Roman Shades to ensure privacy.

Shades

Soft Cloud Shades brightens this breakfast nook with vibrant color of yellow.  The shades are hung up to the ceiling to reveal more light and window clearance.  These cloud shades serves as a grand backdrop to the room.

Silk Roman Shades are the perfect complement to this library.  The shades are line and interlined to provide some sun protection to the outer layer and provide warmth to the room.  The chain lift system allows the Shades to be functional for privacy or to let light in. These roman shades are all hand sewn.

Roller Shades

For complete privacy and to protect furniture from the sun's penetrating rays, roller shades provide the best solution. Rollers shades can add a strong visual element to the room by adding  a cornice, valance and trimming embellishments.

Commercial Spaces

Cloud Shades was designed to dress up this Restaurant windows located in Daytona, Florida.  The restaurant is located on the 23 floor on top of this high rise that overlooks the beach.  Two different size of shades were made to cover 84 windows concave in the shape of a circle.  Bold color of  burgandy was used on the bottom and underside of the shades to accent the stipes in the face fabric.
